Third transnational Partner Meeting held in April 2021

Montag, 19. April 2021

On April 15, the Tour2Include consortium gathered for the third transnational meeting and took the opportunity to evaluate the latest project implementation and plan the next implementation steps.

Another successful meeting is a fact! The members of the Tour2Include project have just hold their 3rd Partner Meeting online instead of the planned meeting in Athens, Greece – and again managed to make the best out of it.

Under the leadership of Social Impact, representatives from the participating organizations BK Consult (Germany), Cesie (Italy), IDP (Italy), Symplexis (Greece) and AKMI (Greece) focused on the current development of training tools for migrants’ integration in tourism-related sectors.

Based on previous survey results, the partners, led by the Greek organization AKMI, designed training materials consisting of a total of 5 training modules focusing on:

- General soft skills

- Intercultural skills

- Communication skills

- Tourism related skills

- Digital skills (basic applications of computer and web skills).

The training toolkit will include an online training platform providing materials of the training modules complemented by a glossary section for a quick and intuitive understanding of key concepts.

The complete online training will be made available to the public with supplementary video materials and cultural profiles of the participating countries after completion and a test phase and can be used privately and publicly for training purposes.

Tour2Include is a project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission: it aims to establish an innovative approach with the intention to support low-skilled migrants who would like to work in the Tourism Sector to acquire the necessary typical and soft skills.
